Joseph D. Blakley
Treasurer, Indianapolis City Ballet
Joseph Blakley started work in 1976 through 2000 for Aetna Life and Casualty and Travelers Insurance/Citygroup Corporation.
Joseph worked in underwriting and marketing in both Casualty and Life Divisions including management positions in both until retirement in 2000. He is also the former Owner and President of Classic Cheescakes Inc.
Joseph graduated from Ball State University in 1973 with a B.S. in Business Administration. He is the former President of the local chapter of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and a member of The Columbia Club and The Dramatic Club. He is currently active with his life partner, William L. Fortune Jr., in various local and national philanthropic cultural and charitable organizations.
